I was uncertain of how this film would play out before I went to see it. I am a fan of the original and learning that this one was to be directed by ‘Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle’s’ McG as well as a star turn from Helena Bonham Carter (What? Merchant Ivory meets ‘The Terminator’) I had my misgivings. A few years ago I felt the series had run its course and had nowhere to go.
